The Rugby

The Nachos at The Rugby
The Rugby is a pub located in between International Hall and the AHA center. Open during the day, and closing around midnight, it’s informal atmosphere makes it a great place to sit with a few friends and grab food and drinks. They offer beer, wine, cocktails, hard alcohol and a small collections of ciders. The food at The Rugby is especially good, and for about 10 pounds you can get a large plate of well-cooked food quickly. Highly recommended are their nachos, which is a large enough dish to split between 2 or 3 people. This pub has an informal, relaxed atmosphere. If you’re craving dancing, this is not the place to go. Instead its better to come here when you want to sit down and talk with a smaller group. They have seating for groups up to 8, but a group much larger than that will have trouble finding seating together. There is a small outdoor smoking area. The staff is friendly, and is happy to chat with you and offer suggestion on tours to take or sights to see. Overall, this pub is recommended for its food, and it’s calm atmosphere. It’s a great place to relax and grab a drink and a quick bite to eat during a free afternoon. Its location near International Hall makes it a go-to when looking for an informal pub with a small group.
